Business Description & Licensing
Precise Home Repair is a licensed handyman business registered in Maury County and the City of Spring Hill, Tennessee. Precise Home Repair is not a licensed electrician, plumber, or general contractor. Services are performed by an experienced sole proprietor. Responsibility for obtaining any required permits remains with the property owner, project manager, or general contractor as applicable. Permit limitations may restrict the scope of services that can be performed.
Service Area
Primary service area includes Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Columbia, and Franklin, Tennessee. Service may be available outside this area and is subject to *additional charges. Out-of-area availability and any applicable charges will be communicated at the time of scheduling.
Scheduling & Availability
Services are provided by scheduled appointment only during available service days. Same-day or expedited scheduling may not be available and is subject to current availability. Precise Home Repair reserves the right to decline any job outside current scheduling capacity.
Estimates & Quote Validity
Written estimates are based on current information available at the time of assessment. Pricing presented in an estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue unless otherwise noted. Any changes to scope, materials, or site conditions discovered after an estimate is issued may affect final pricing and will be communicated prior to proceeding. Final invoicing will reflect actual work performed.
Hourly Service Work
Some work is performed on a time-and-materials basis without a formal written estimate, particularly service calls and diagnostic work where the full scope cannot be determined in advance. In these cases the customer agrees to be billed for actual time and materials upon completion.
Minimum Service Charge
A minimum service charge applies to all scheduled service visits. This charge covers travel, arrival, setup, coordination, and up to the first 90 minutes of on-site labor. Additional labor, materials, or services beyond this minimum will be billed separately or incorporated into the final invoice as applicable. The minimum service charge is non-refundable once service has been provided.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made after scheduling is confirmed may be subject to a cancellation fee if notice is not received at least 24 hours in advance. If Precise Home Repair has left their place of residence or business en route to the job site at the time of cancellation, the minimum service charge applies in full.
Diagnostic & Investigative Services
Time spent diagnosing, investigating, researching products or solutions, tracing, or troubleshooting issues is billable regardless of whether a final repair or solution is completed during the service visit.
Materials Policy
Materials sourced and provided by Precise Home Repair may include a modest markup to cover procurement, transportation, and handling. Materials may be summarized as a single line total on invoices unless otherwise arranged in advance. Customers are welcome to source and provide their own materials.
Disposal Policy
Light cleanup and removal of standard packaging materials from newly installed items are included with all services. Precise Home Repair is unable to haul away large items or large quantities of removed materials. Items that cannot be disposed of include but are not limited to: toilets, sinks, mattresses, bed frames, furniture, microwaves, large appliances, and quantities of more than two ceiling fans or similar fixtures. Customers are responsible for arranging disposal of such items prior to or following service.
Emergency & After-Hours Service
Work requested outside of scheduled availability or on short notice may be subject to a higher hourly or flat rate. Any adjusted rate will be communicated and agreed upon prior to scheduling.
Warranty
Workmanship is warranted for 12 months from the date of completion, covering installation defects only. Warranty does not cover material defects, pre-existing conditions, customer misuse, or manufacturer failures. Warranty applies only to work performed by Precise Home Repair and is void if work is subsequently altered or built upon by another party.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion or within 7 calendar days of invoice date unless otherwise arranged in advance. Late payments may be subject to additional fees after 14 days. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, Zelle, and credit or debit cards. Card payments are subject to a small processing fee charged by the payment processor, not by Precise Home Repair. Customers paying by cash, check, or Zelle avoid this fee entirely.
Limitation of Liability
Precise Home Repair is not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, concealed damage, or any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages resulting from work performed. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Right to Decline Service
Precise Home Repair reserves the right to decline any job that falls outside the scope of services offered, exceeds licensing limitations, or presents conditions that cannot be safely or professionally addressed.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes arising from services provided shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Maury County, Tennessee.
Agreement
Use of Precise Home Repair services constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions in full. For estimate-based work, approval of the estimate serves as agreement to these terms. For invoice-based work, submission of payment serves as acknowledgment of satisfactory completion and acceptance of these terms.
